We all have a bucket list, right? I actually have a few. I have a travel list, a what I want to achieve in my life list, a things I want to own list (even though I will probably never own a Mercedes A45 AMG, it’s still on the list! 🙂 ). Sometimes the items cross over between the lists. Like tomorrow I will be crossing a BIG one off. You see, I’m having a birthday and it’s a big number. Even though I try not to worry about that number, it still heading towards me like a truck on black ice. It’s out of my control and there’s no way to stop it. I always said that I wanted to celebrate the day (because it needs to be celebrated – I have made it this far!) watching the sun rise and the sun set on Uluru. I’ve never had the chance to see the rock before, and to be able to spend the day with my family and friends is going to be amazing. And it can be crossed off the travel list, and the things I want to do the most list!! Two lists!! Win, win 🙂

I’ve also signed up to extend my education. I haven’t plucked up enough courage to enrol for Uni but I have enrolled in tertiary education, and am going to be studying Library and Information Services. You see, on my career list, I have this dream to open a book exchange. But this won’t be any book exchange. It will be a gorgeous bookshop, complete with coffee station and barista, large comfy armchairs, and shelves upon shelves of pre-loved books. However, I have no idea how to run a bookstore so I figured learning how to catalogue etc can only help. And the other upside is I might get to meet a whole load of new people 🙂

I’m not giving up on the writing career bucket list. That one is still full steam ahead. I’m just excited to start this next step in crossing things off that list!
