Hello, I’m Beth. I was born in Manchester England but now live on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia where every day is a good one. I’m the lucky mother of two children, and along with my ever-patient husband I’m the proud owner and foster mum of four dogs, a cat, three birds and two guinea pigs.
I sometimes get asked why I started to write? Did I always have the desire? Well, the truth is when I was younger I never had the desire to write. In fact, it was the last thing I wanted to do. I had a love of maths so I became a bookkeeper. But my mum used to tell me a lot of stories about how she grew up during the war. These stories were always happy memories of hers and often they were very funny tales of what my Grandma used to get up to. I thought that those stories needed to be written down. I didn’t think I had the skills to do it, but I gave it a go. But when I started to write them, another story came to me. Completely fiction but had hints of truth in it. And Dangerous Deeds was born, lol. I’ve always had a love of reading though. My favourite authors are Janet Evanovich, Sophie Kinsella, and Gemma Halliday.
